Talega Time

In July of 2022, I was commissioned to do a photography shoot at Talega Golf Club in San Clemente California. This Fred Couples design is a San Clemente favorite and I wanted to make the local golfers proud. Please enjoy a photo from every golf hole at Talega Golf Club.

The Front Nine

The 1st hole is a gentle opener that can provide a birdie start for those coming in hot.

The 2nd hole at Talega is a reachable par 5.

The first short par 4 at Talega comes on the 3rd hole.

The 5th hole is the toughest par 3 on the property. At 228 yards and a lake left, bailing out right is a smart play.

at 584 yards, the 6th hole is a risk reward par 5 for only the boldest of players.

The par 3 7th looks innocent but danger looms in that pond.

The 8th is the second of back to back par 3’s and the most scenic on the golf course.

The 9th hole is a 428 yard par 4 finishing right by the clubhouse.

The Back Nine

The scenic 10th begins your back nine journey throughout the canyon.

The elevated view on the 11th tee box sets the scene for the back nine.

There is no room for error right of the green on the par 3 12th hole.

The 13th hole at Talega is it’s longest at 624 yards.

At 320 yards, the 14th is the shortest par 4 at Talega.

The blind tee shot will test golfers on the par 5 15th

The 16th hole at Talega is it’s most difficult at 461 yards. 2 good shots are required here.

The 17th hole is Talega’s final par 3. Those bunkers up front get plenty of play.

The 18th at Talega is a solid finishing.hole that will reward a good drive with a short approach into a green protected by water.
