Top 10 images from Aspen Glen Club

You never know what you are going to capture on any given day on the golf course. However, if you give me 3 days, I can assure you that I am going to capture something good. Here are my favorite photographs from my photography shoot at Aspen Glen Club. Even with nearby wildfires casting a smoky vibe over the golf course. Aspen Glen still managed to shine through the smoke. You simply can’t keep a good golf course down.

10. The 18th Green

At the beginning of our list, we start at the end of the golf course. This green backs right up to the Roaring Fork River and offers some spectacular views as we start our list where most rounds will end.

9. The 8th hole

I always love a short par 3 and this tiny little number provides a killer view of the mountains in the background and the Roaring Fork River on the left hand side.

8. The 3rd hole

As you begin to explore the front nine, you get a strong sense of place as you fire your ball against the mountains and away from the clubhouse. The 3rd hole does a great job at captivating the experience of playing golf at Aspen Glen.

7. The 2nd Hole

While it is only the 2nd hole, Morne Van Rensburg models hard enough to make you think he’s been golfing all day long.

6. The 12th hole

Here we find world class model Patrick Koenig preparing to approach the 12th green. At 690 yards from the back tees, this par 5 is one of the longest in the state of Colorado.

5. The 8th hole

Here we have a rare double showing from the 8th hole coming in at #9 and #5. It may be controversial, but I think this beauty looks better from behind.

4. The 16th hole

The 16th hole at Aspen Glen is pretty straight forward with some bunkers to protect the green. However, this particular sky served as an additional hazard in terms of distraction.

3. The 6th hole

Another long par 5 that ends with some interest around the green. This bunker is the largest on the golf course and makes for a compelling picture.

2. The 10th hole

As I was searching for the ideal angle to photograph the 10th green, this photograph just jumped out and grabbed me. A splendid mixture of gold, gree, red, white and blue make this a special photograph to contend with.

1: The 18th Green

With the sun going down on the photography shoot, I was able to capture on final image on Aspen Glen’s final golf hole. In a full circle moment our final photograph brings us right back to where our list began.
