The time has come to sort through the rubble of my WSGA summer internship and hand out some awards. After playing 76 golf courses in 49 days, I had a lot to digest. I may catch some flack for this, but I am officially listing a golf course that I did not actually play in the most prestigious category. I had received several hot tips on Plum Lake and just couldn’t fit it into my schedule. It is the lone regret that I have from my time in Wisconsin. Perhaps this is what the category is all about… A true hidden gem might just be that golf course that you haven’t even played yet, but deep down in your golf soul you know that you need to find it and explore it.
