When I look into my closet, I have about 900 golf polos to choose from. About once a year, I go to the Salvation Army or Goodwill and donate those that I wore out, or those that just didn’t make the cut.
There are a simply a lot of good options for golfers when it comes to selecting a golf shirt. This is why I have only chosen to review those that stand out from the crowd (those that get worn out.) The fine folks over at tasc Performance have created one of these polos.
One thing that initially grabbed my attention aside from the seriously comfortable golf polo was the company itself. It’s a family owned operation based out of New Orleans and unlike your typical clothing manufacturer, they believe in the power of creating something original and superior. That’s why tasc has opted to use bamboo in the construction of their apparel. You seriously won’t be able to find anything like this in the marketplace.
I don’t understand the science of using bamboo to make a golf shirt, but the result is hard to argue with. It is seriously comfortable. You can read more about the company and it’s patented bamboo process here.
While the polo is fantastic, my favorite part of the tasc performance apparel line just may be the shorts.
This particular pair of shorts is the Switchback II short and it’s got a double back pocket situation that adds a little bit of style but still gives you the look of classic golf shorts.
With tasc, you won’t find any bright purple polos with bananas on them and you won’t find that pair of neon pink golf shorts that you have been looking for. But that’s the point.. it’s classic good looks with an incredible level of comfort. They have several basic and simple designs to chose from right now.
tasc is not new to the game of golf either and already has some cool deals in place with tour pros Chris Kirk and Scott Stallings.
